PatientFM v10 includes:

• HIPAA Secure
  • An open account and password is required plus an additional logon in required via a looping script that requires a staff name and password. You may log off to this logon screen that allows for logon on and avoids having to wait till all the files are opened again.
  • We set FileMaker Server to automatically disconnect inactive clients after a set period of time.
  • If you will be using PatientFM on a local network in a multi-user client server environment, encryption on your local network is accomplished using PatientFM with FileMaker Server 8, encrypting the data between hosted databases and desktop clients uses the SSL protocol. For web protection, you buy a SSL certificate to load on your Server to encrypt the data between a web client's browser and your server. Prices for these certificates range from $150 to $700 per year.
  • PatientFM takes advantage of FileMaker 8's ability to send password protected PDFs via emails.
  • We will provide you with all the expertise you need to secure your local network behind a firewall, setup up remote desktop connections or a VPN (Virtual Private Network) so you may securely connect from remote offices, hospitals or home.
• Main Home Screen - Provides primary chart access and appointments scheduling.
  • Easy to use Search feature for quick access to the their chart or to create a doctor note.
  • View, create and print appointments for any day - any year on one screen.
  • Pre-create notes (often called encounters) for each of the patient appointments for the day.

  Optional Features

  Option 1 "Real-Time" Web Enabled PatientFM. PatientFM can give you password protected web access to your patient list, charts and doctor notes. HIPAA Compliant encryption is available using FileMaker Server 10 Advanced and a Certificate Authority (CA) such as Thawte and Verisign. We have network engineers that will help you with this and we will further web-enable per your requirements.

  Option 2 Additional Functionality we can add for you if needed

  • Outlook / Entourage plug-in to export data from, or to use in place of, our built-in Scheduling Module.
    • Cost of the plug-in plus $1250 to tie into PatientFM
  • Fax Plug-in. To fax notes and letters directly within FileMaker.
    • Cost of the plug-in plus $650
  • eBilling. We will map our billing fields to the processing center or billing company of your choice provided they are open to this.
    • $3500
  • eLabs. We will provide a Mac based automated labs processing center that dials a modem, downloads and parses HL7 coded results from LabCorp (and Baptist Hospitals in Memphis, TN) into a related FileMaker file. You can add the charting plug-in to view the results over time in a chart view.
    • $2500.
  • Charting Plug-in.
    • Cost of the plug-in plus development hours to chart the data you need charted. We will estimate development hours.
  • Set up your Server, firewall, VPN, remote desktop connections or Web Publishing.
    • $ we will estimate the hardware, software and work hours.
  • Travel
    • If travel is required, we charge a standard travel fee of $500 airfare plus $780 per day.
  • By the hour training and development, $85/hr.
    • We will estimate all work at no charge.
